JULINA AND CAROLE RIDE FOR RESEARCH!
Two intrepid young women found a novel way to raise funds for MS Research. Riding their bikes coast to coast from Cumbria to Whitby Bay on the Yorkshire coast they crossed some of the most wild and beautiful parts of the UK . They travelled via the famous Tan Hill Inn the highest pub in England at a height of 1732 feet above sea level! The Inn was recently featured in a TV advert for a well known windows company!
They completed their trip in 4 days sometimes travelling in the dark to catch up on lost time. They did the ride for Julina’s mum who has MS. We wish Julina’s mum all the very best and offer our HUGE thanks to Julina and Carole for their magnificent effort. The final sponsorship raised was well over £1,000.

Will this marvellous riding effort be matched in 2009 by three young fundraisers? David Graham, aged 17, is riding on bike with 2 friends over 7 days Coast to coast! They plan to stay in Youth Hostels and camp. News will be posted on our blog! They will start on 26th August…
