VACCINATION ADVICE

Vaccination advice

Time to think about those ‘flu (influenza) vaccinations as the winter approaches!

People who have MS especially those on some disease modifying drugs are at risk of infection.

The ‘flu jab is offered to people in at-risk groups, who are at greater risk of developing serious complications from ‘flu. To stay protected, they need to have it every year.

‘flu is a highly infectious illness that spreads rapidly through the coughs and sneezes of people who are carrying the virus.

Speak to your GP and ask about general flu jabs, H1N1 -swine ‘flu jabs, and protection against pneumonia with the pneumococcal vaccine (under the immuno suppression group).
